The Museum of the Rockies...
In front of the Museum of the Rockies. This week we took a short break from 'the ordinary', and went on a vacation/business (for LH) and went to Bozeman, MT. LH needed to go to a mine near there to measure a truck so he can design a staircase for it. We took the 'scenic route' in stead of the interstate. It was a beautiful drive. We stopped on top of the Beartooth Mountains to enjoy the sites. It was 51 degrees! And yes, that is SNOW in the background. NLH and SJH enjoyed a little snowball fight while the rest of us sat in the blazer trying to stay somewhat warm! Needless to say, this road is closed in the winter since there is snow there in August. The kids and I spent the first morning swimming while LH went to take care of the 'business'. In the afternoon we went to the Museum of the Rockies on the MSU campus. It was fun to spend time together with out working! Day two we did some shopping and headed back home. This time we went on a different scenic route. It was great! It is so amazing how different mountains can look.

Some beautiful scenery on your trip...we miss mountains! Thats great you were able to have some fun together. I remember those long hard "working on the house" days. Its so much hard work but worth it in the end!
