Successful hunting.

LGH & NLH helped a friend get his trophy elk this year.

Failed gravy...

We have learned not to use the roast drippings to make gravy if you put soda on the roast to cook. It almost looked like bacon wrapped around the wisk. Not appetizing when you know it isn't bacon!

Three months old already!

Pumpkin Carving.

This year the kids chose HUGE pumpkins. It sure is nice to have kids old enough to gut and carve the pumpkins all by themselves!

Deer Hunt

We spent a week in SV for the deer hunt this year. It was a very successful trip! LGH made a new record this year...the smallest deer he has ever shot. He is in the "meat & means" era of hunting. (There is a deer, it is not far from the vehicle, it is an easy shot, and I will get meat for my family) They had a great time hunting. SHH, JAH, and AMH all had a good time visiting with family during our stay.

It's a girl!

She was born @ 2:11 am. Her big brother and sister's were able to be @ the hospital to see her right after she was born! Needless to say, it was a very late night (or early morning) for everyone.

Our little bundle of joy! She is so fun to have. Her brother and sister's are already wrapped around her little finger! (Okay, so is mom and dad) We are so blessed to have such a happy healthy, perfect baby!

Happy New Year

Holy Cow…it has been a crazy year in the Harmon household! We were able to move in our new home in September. Since then, we have been unpacking, organizing, re-organizing, and settling in. It has been SO wonderful to be living here! Thanks to everyone for all of the help we received!NLH is 14. He is in the 9th grade at Centennial Jr. High. He is still playing the trumpet, and quit good at it even though he doesn’t practice as much as he should (or at all). He loves hunting, camping and fishing.

SJH is 12. She is in the 7th grade at Centennial Jr. High. She also entered the Young Women program at church. She is our ‘social bug’. She either always wants to have a friend over, or is talking to them on the phone or texting them (with her mom’s phone).
SHH turned 10 in the middle of December. She is in 4th grade at University Park Elementary. She has made SO many new friends since we moved. She is following in the steps of her older brother & sister by always wanting to have a friend over.
LGH and JAH have just been trying to keep up with the kids! We have been called as Ward Missionaries. It is a change from any other calling we have had. We really enjoy the opportunity to have the fulltime missionaries in our home. They bring a wonderful spirit and example to our home. It is wonderful to have our children see their enthusiasm.

We are so grateful for all we have. It is through our Savior Jesus Christ and our membership in His church that gives us strength. We hope the spirit of the holiday stays with you in the coming year.

We hope you all have a wonderful 2010!
