What a summer!

These pictures are not in chronological order...at this point, I am just happy I am able to get them posted!

NLH and his friend R hit a deer & rolled R's truck on the 4th of July. That is not a fun phone call to receive!

 

We were in charge of the family reunion this year. We had about 30 people & 4 dogs in our house for 3 days...very crazy, but very FUN!

 

 

SJH wanted to take some friends to Grandma's for a weekend. It was an interesting experience...4 teenage girls & an 11 month old...yeah.

We were able to go visit Grandma F. We love to visit her!

NLH turned 16...holy cow where did the time go!

Cousin E made matching headbands for all the girl cousins. She is just as talented as Grandma!

AMH with cousin R...right before she hugged him too tight & made him cry.

AMH with cousin C...she just loves babies!

Painting Toenails.

 The girls decided to paint their toenails the other day. AMH was so interested in what they were doing.

 So...they painted her toenails too!

They learned that it is not easy to paint toenails that are in constant motion. AMH sure was excited.

A little scary.

The other night, AMH took a tumble. She hit her head rather hard on the tile floor. We took her to the ER, and found out she has a small fracture above her right ear. There was a small amount of bleeding by the fracture. They kept us there all night. She is doing much better. The Dr. said she should recover quickly with no lasting side effects from the fall! We are so blessed that it was not worse.

The nurse had fun hooking her up the the monitor. The nurse would get one of the pads on, and then while she was working on the next one, AMH would take the first one off and hand it to the nurse. This went on until Dad got her occupied with something else! We had to run the cords in a way that they were not reachable by AMH. She is in such a grabby stage!



Bath Time

Every tub was being used, and AMH needed a bath. The last time that happened, the three older kids used all the hot water. ...SO...we filled the kitchen sink and put her in while there was still warm water for her. She LOVED it! As with the rest of our kids, she loves to splash in the water.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. This has been quite a year for our family. It started with an event we thought we would not have to deal with again…planning for a new baby!



AMH was born on August 24th. She has been a healthy happy baby. Her brother and sisters love her. She has been so fun!


SHH is in the 5th grade now. She has started to play the viola and is preparing to enter junior high in the fall.


SJH is in the 8th grade. She continues to play the cello. She will be entering high school in the fall.

NLH is a sophomore this year. He turned 15 last summer and has started driving. He is also working on becoming an eagle scout.


LGH and JAH are trying to keep up with three active kids and a newborn. We feel so blessed to have 4 wonderful children. We know our blessings come through our faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
